Make the use of both the positive & the negative of your Cricut or die cuts & make two cards instead of one.
Saves you time as you have already cut out the word or image – so why not turn the other part into a quick card too!
The Negative
Well there really isn’t anything negative about this card – it just uses the negative space left behind in the card stock to make the card & I think it looks great.
The Positive
I am all about being positive & this card positively makes me happy.
It uses the part that you cut out for the card design. You can see that both cards look the similar – they use the same materials but have a different look.

And there you have it two cards from one cut!
Saved some time in using the same materials, but still made slightly different cards.

To make these cards I done a wash of water all over the Watercolour Paper and used the CTMH Watercolour Paints over the top of the wet paper.
I done an ombre look using a light pink to purple colour. Once dry I cut out the happy from the Cricut® Artbooking Collection, added some thick twine which I pulled apart to make thin threads & some silver sequins.
The word Birthday is from the super cute M stamp Birthday Calligraphy. This has been stamped in black on white card & adhered with 3D foam tape to finish the cards off.
Remember today is the last day to join the Live your Day Gathering to be in the draw to win the January Mystery Hostess & for a chance to get a FREE roll of gold foil tape.
The current total on the MYSTERY Hostess rewards is $50 $70 in FREE product and one 1/2 off item.
Also make sure you take the time to round up your order & donate some money to Operation Smile™, an organization that provides free, life-changing surgery that repairs smiles and reshapes lives, one child at a time.
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out this time saving for making cards idea…see you soon.
