Stamping Foam blocks are mouldable foam pieces that are great for creating original and unique stamps to make some interesting impressions with. The foam can be reheated and remoulded to use over and over again & no image looks the same twice. Plus it gives your other tools like embossing folders, thin cut dies, embellishments & even stamps another look & way to create with them. Really extending the value of your supplies & stretching your creativity.

To use the Stamping Foam blocks, heat foam with a Heat It Craft Tool. Then, press foam into textured shape and hold in place for 5-10 seconds. Once you have your impression you then ink with Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pads or Distress Oxide™ Ink Pads. You can even make impressions into the inked up areas with thin cut dies, embellishments & even stamps.

For this card I went with making an impression into the heated Stamping Foam with the back side of the stamp & I lifted some ink colour using a cloud shape that I cut out with a think cut die.

I used the Kangaroo with Joey from the adorable Precious Moments—March Stamp of the Month. I had the stamp upside down, so the bottom of the stamp facing up to form the main shape where the Kangaroo with Joey would be later stamped.

I used ink daubers to colour in the grass, sky & the background colour of the Kangaroo with Joey. I pressed the cloud die cut into the sky to remove some ink to form some clouds & then stamped the inked Stamping Foam onto white daisy cardstock.

I then inked up the stamp in black ink & stamped onto the background. I could have left it as is as the Kangaroo with Joey are already coloured in, but true to me having to go one step further, I added some colouring details with TriBlend™ Markers
