Playing with ink & finding beauty in the smudges

Creative Flower Card

I love flower stamps. I find flowers so simple to create with & always looking for fresh ideas on using the flowers stamps & for this one idea I turned to the Freshly Made Sketches #602 – A Sketch by Kim and love the simplity of this design.

I thought a nice wood panel with some patten paper would make a great panel base for this card.

I started using the Design Elements Stamp Set set to create my wood panel. I love how it joins up to extend out the image to make it as large as you need.

I created some backgrounds using the packaging ink technique & stamped my flowers from the National Stamping Month—Say It with Style Sending You a Hug Stamp Set & then arranged the flowers onto the panel. I added a sentiment to complete the card.

I really love how this all came together & the Freshly Made Sketches #602 – A Sketch by Kim was the perfect jumping off point & inspired me to get a little bit messy, but then to contain the mess with a nice clean design. Check out the process on Tik Tok.

Why not give these ideas a try yourself.

What We’re Loving
