Tired of the same old double page 12×12 scrapbooking layouts? It’s time to think outside the box! I’ll show you how to create a unique double page scrapbook layout by combining different page sizes. This Christmas-themed project features a 12×12 page paired with an 8.5×11 page and a pocket page & a flip flap for photos & hidden journalling.

It all started with a sketch from the 30 Days of Sketches with Christy’s Beautiful Life Facebook group, I was looking for a double page 12×12 scrapbook layout and I seen this layout created by Lisa Brooks

I decided that I wanted to use the vertical row of photos with a CTMH Pocket Plus™ Memory Protectors™ and thought why not change things up & paired the 12×12 page with a 8.5×11 page.
I started with cutting up the Reindeer Days DSP as my base. I also used some of the patterns to create the banners as well as cut into some Reindeer Memories Scrapbooking Workshop and Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack. I used Wood Textured Specialty Paper as the base of the photos and created my own embellishment title using the Christmas out of the Peaceful Season Dies.
The Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack also has sticker which I used along with the sticker sheet that comes with the Reindeer Memories Scrapbooking Workshop to decorate the pocket pages.
Get inspired to create your own one-of-a-kind scrapbook layouts! This Christmas-themed project is a perfect example of how to combine 12×12 and 8.5×11 pages for a cohesive and eye-catching design & it is a fun way to be creative as well as creating some interactive scrapbook layouts.
