Who says seagulls can’t party? 🎈 I had so much fun creating this cheerful birthday card featuring the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Seagulls stamp set, which you can get for free during Sale-A-Bration!

The background blending technique adds a vibrant ocean-meets-sunset feel, and I even borrowed some party accessories from another favorite set—Darling Dinos!

Pumpkin Pie & Pool Party magic was created by blending the inks onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and the secret to dreamy texture created is using the Stampin’ Spritzer filled with Water & then layering the blending over it again before repeating the water marking with the Spritzer. This gave depth to the water marking on the blended background. I then added some Stampin’ Blends Splatters by flicking the blends from the lid & splattering the background.

Adding waves was easy with the little sand stamp which also looks a little like the sea foam bubbles when stamped in VersaMark & embossed in Bright White WoW embossing powder.

By borrowing some party vibes from the Stampin’ Up! Darling Dinos stamp set I was able to turn these Seagulls into Party Animals. Would you invite these party birds to your next celebration?
