Unlike a traditional shaker card that uses foam tape to create depth, a frameless shaker card is made by sealing sequins or shaker elements inside a clear envelope. This gives your card a smooth, seamless look while still allowing the shaker bits to move freely inside.

What You’ll Need:

Clear Envelopes – The secret to a frameless shaker!
Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix – Adds sparkle and movement
Layers of Beauty Decorative Masks – Perfect for ink blending a beautiful background
Delightful Wishes Bundle – Sentiment die cuts and stamping for the perfect finishing touch

Step-by-Step: How to Make a Frameless Shaker Card

Create the Background – Using the Layers of Beauty Decorative Masks, blend pinks for a soft floral effect, then add a blue water wash to fill the negative space. Let dry. I then used the brand new Pattern of Friendship Die to create a background over this. Pretty backgrounds are perfect to show off with a frameless shaker card.

Assemble the Shaker – Place your Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix on top of the background. Slide everything into a Clear Envelope and seal it tightly.

Add the Sentiment – Die cut ‘Wishing’ and stamp ‘You a Happy Birthday’ from the Delightful Wishes Bundle. Attach them on top of the clear envelope for added dimension.

Finish & Assemble – Mount the shaker envelope onto a card base and admire your seamless, interactive design!
