I dived into some fun scrapbooking techniques with the Everyday You & Me Scrapbooking Kit from Stampin’ Up!—and created this adorable “Beary Cute” layout that has added depth with inking techniques, die-cut titles, and creative sticker layering, making the layout pop!

How I Created This Scrapbook Layout

Choosing the Right Papers & Colors

I started by selecting the star-patterned paper from the Everyday You & Me Scrapbooking Kit and layered it onto a Night of Navy cardstock base. To add texture, I curled one of the corners and gently rolled some edges—this not only adds interest but also reveals the checked pattern underneath.

Ink Blending & Shimmer Magic

To add depth, I used the Secret Sea Ink (a new 2025–2027 In Color) and blended with a blending brush, onto the star paper—both above and below where I planned to place the photos. Then, for an extra touch of shimmer & texture, I lightly spritzed the background with Antique Linen Distress Spray. (If you’re a Stampin’ Up! fan, you can try the Wink of Stella for a similar effect!)

Adding the Photos & Embellishments

With the background prepped, it was time to bring in the details!

• I stamped & coloured a sweet little bear from the Peekaboo Forest Stamp Set using blue markers to match the theme.
• Added the bear to a sticker from the Everyday You & Me Kit (Pure Sweetness) added a playful touch!
• I layered banners under one of the photos and anchored the cluster with the phrase “Sweet Baby” from the Greetings for All Ephemera Pack.

Creating a Bold Title

The title “Beary Cute” was made using a mix of die cuts & stamping:

• I die-cut Beary using some old CTMH Alpha Die set and then cut out the letters from adhesive foam sheets for a dimensional look (I love how you can die cut these Foam sheets & it still stays thick) the and then used my Misty to align the stamps over the die cut letters perfectly.
• I added the Foam sheets to the back of the stamped words.
• To finish it off, I added On the Go Puffy Stickers and the word “Cute” cut from the Alphabet à la Mode Dies.

Final Touches & Hidden Details

For an extra pop, I blended Secret Sea Ink onto a scalloped border sticker and placed it under the center photo. Off-camera, I decided to add the phrase “I Adore You” to one of my embellishment clusters—it was just the perfect finishing touch!
