Have you ever made a card where the scene almost steals the show—but then a cheeky little character comes in and totally upstages it? That’s exactly what happened with this playful photobombing llama (or is it an alpaca?) from the Stampin’ Up! from the Long Time No See stamp set, is up to mischief)!

A Cheeky Llama or Alpaca Card with Scenic Layers
I started by piecing together this gorgeous layered background using the Boho Vibes 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, which has such a rich, desert-sunset vibe. To create the landscape, I used the Scenic Adventure Dies to cut out the mountains and green shrubs. I love how they bring instant depth and texture.
Then I cut the whole panel using the Textured Notes Dies, which gave the card that stitched, artisan-style border that feels right at home in a rugged, natural scene.
To finish the sky, I heat embossed one of the clouds from the Scenic Adventure stamp set in white for a soft, dreamy look against the blue paper.
And finally—the star of the show! I coloured this fuzzy llama (or alpaca!) from the Long Time No See stamp set using Stampin’ Blends, fussy cut him out, and popped him onto the scene so it looks like he’s sticking his head into the frame like a total goofball. Because what’s a scenic moment without a bit of cheek?
