There’s something timeless and joyful about sunflowers—and this handmade card captures that warmth perfectly! I created this layered beauty using the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder as the hero of the project.

For the background, I embossed Early Espresso cardstock and gently swiped it with white ink to bring out the incredible detail and contrast.

The dimensional sunflower elements were coloured using a mix of Stampin’ Blends and Watercolor Pencils, giving them a vibrant, sun-kissed look. I fussy cut them for extra texture and depth. The crisp white frame was cut using the Gallery Blooms Dies, adding a clean, modern touch that draws your eye straight to the floral focal point. To top it all off, I used the Mini Alphabet Dies to spell out a cheerful “HELLO”—because who wouldn’t want a sunny greeting in their mailbox?

This card is perfect for brightening someone’s day and is a great way to combine embossing, colouring, and die cutting in one joyful papercraft project.
