Dive into this spooky scrapbook layout featuring Stampin’ Up!’s Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper and Fright Night Dies. Learn how to recreate the blended background and layer all the frightfully fun elements!

Blended Backgrounds & Boo-tiful Die-Cuts
This Halloween scrapbook layout is all about layers and texture. I started by blending Petunia Pop ink across the top using a blending brush, then added water spritzes and black ink splatters for a spooky night sky. The ombre background serves as more than just decoration—it’s a storytelling element that evokes the twilight hour when Halloween magic feels most real.
The frames and characters are fussy cut from the Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper, while the bats and haunted house were cut using the Spooky Halloween Dies. To finish, I added die-cut sentiments — EEK and BOO — from the Fright Night Dies. It’s the perfect balance of creepy and cute for your October memories!
Crafty Tip: when incorporating multiple small elements like bats and spiders, create visual triangles to guide the eye naturally across your spread. Notice how the elements flow from the “BOO-EEK!” focal point through the various scattered motifs. This intentional placement prevents chaos while maintaining that playful Halloween energy.
