I’m always looking for ways to create masculine cards that feel fresh and interesting without being overly fussy. This sketch-based design combines Trusty Tools stamps with layered textures and a sophisticated colour palette to create something that works perfectly for the guys in your life.
The secret to this card’s visual interest is all in the layering. I started with colourful Scribble rectangles created with Stampin’ Blends, then built up texture with the Lasting Linen stamp set and soft circular impressions from the Gears & Textures set. The Trusty Tools stamps add the perfect finishing touch, especially with that paint brush deliberately going off the edge for a casual, artistic feel.
The “you’re the most AWESOME” sentiment, stamped in Basic Gray and popped up on foam tape, provides a focal point that stands out beautifully against all that background texture. And that roughed-up edge on the white panel? It’s those little details that make handmade cards special.
