Close To My Heart Tea-rrific - March Stamp of the Month #CTMH www.maz.closetomyheart.com.auIt looks like it is time for Tea with this month’s Tea-rrificβ€”March Stamp of the MonthΒ & you can play with the stamp setΒ too, just by adding itΒ to your cart at full retail price of $27 OR, with your qualifying order of $75, add it at checkout for the promotional price of $7.50. You only have until MarchΒ 31st, to own it.

I created two different cards using the Tea-rrificβ€”March Stamp of the Month, one using only the flower and one of the sayings for one of the cards and the other card using a tea cup image.

For this Good Times card I stamped & fussy cut the flowers, I did stamp the flower a couple of times where I wanted it to sit on the card, but added the coloured in fussy cut flower on top. I used the grey Β woodgrain paper from the Dreamin’ Big Paper Packet and the lace ribbon from the Rustic Home Ribbon Pack and used Colonial White Cardstock as my base. I liked how the paper and the flowers at the top corner & the one little flow in the opposite bottom corner has made you focus in on one of the great sayings that is in the Tea-rrific-March Stamp of the Month set.

For my next card I wanted a to create a Tea Cup full of flowers, my Nan would often place theΒ dandelion flowers that I picked in a tea cup, instead of vase often because they had such short stems & well she was being nice to display them. So this card reminds me when I was little picking flowers & filling a tea cup, though they never looked as pretty as this card.

The cup and the flowers ha ve been coloured in with ShinHanβ„’ Touch Twinβ„’ Markers, blending the blues together to create the ombrΓ© look for the cup and using different colours for the flowers.

I used one of the Z stripsΒ Dreamin’ Big Paper PacketΒ and some Silver Foil Tape to go with the silver colour I added with the Silver Metallics Markers only because I could not find my Gold one at the time anywhere!

And the tea bag by the way a very last minute addition – you know the ones you add to hide the black mark you somehow got in a random spot after you put the card together! Anyway it now looks complete with it.

And I’d love for you to leave a comment before you head on over to the very talented Doris Taylor Creative Inspirations to get more wonderful ideas on how to use this stamp set.

Enjoy theΒ hop & thanks so much for taking the time to check out these ideas with this month’s Stamp of the Month. I hope you enjoyed what I created, as much as I enjoyed creating it.

See you soon.
