Close To My Heart Jack Paper Suite: Australasian Blog Hop

Australasian Blog HopA Happy Hello and welcome aboard our Jack Paper Suite Australasian, Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from the amazingly creative Doris Taylor – Creative Inspirations then you are in the right place.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this blog post – where you will discover lots of ideas using the Jack Paper Suite.

Jack Paper Packet

I decided to create a slider card using the featured Jack Paper.

This allowed me to use a variety of papers patterns & add a little surprise element to the card. If you look closely you will see that I used some of the patterned paper to create the bow instead of plain cardstock.

I even pulled out the new Scallop Border Thin Cut & tried cutting it into some Gold Shimmer Trim – which I just had to use to decorate the present.

With the slider closed it looks like a little present & once you pull the tab it revels a little bear that hides behind (or in) the present. What is great about this idea is that you can use any pattern paper to create your present – you just need to decide what will be revealed once the slider tab has been pulled open! I hope you enjoyed what I created today & if you did so, please leave a comment before you head over to the very talented: Rachel Stribling – Creative Workshops By Rachel Stribling who I am sure will showcase something absolutely wonderful.

Enjoy the hop & thanks so much for taking the time to check out these ideas with this month’s feature on the Close To My Heart Jack Paper Suite.…Til next time, see you soon & keep creating!
