Close To My Heart Chelsea Gardens Paper Suite: Australasian Blog Hop

Australasian Blog HopA Happy Hello and welcome aboard our Chelsea Gardens Paper Suite Australasian, Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from the amazingly creative Nell Ward then you are in the right place.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this blog post – where you will discover lots of ideas using the Chelsea Gardens Paper Suite

Chelsea Gardens #CTMH www.maz.closetomyheart.com.auThis gorgeous paper suite features soft blues & greens with Charcoal accents & while it has floral patterns within the paper suite – there are patterns in this suite that can easily lend itself to a baby boy card or layout or soft pretty floral cards.  I have had a lot of fun playing with Chelsea Gardens Paper Suite to hopefully spark some inspiration.

The first card I created is this monotone butterfly card, using the marble pattern paper as the background & the grey line pattern paper.

Chelsea Paper Suite Butterfly #CTMH www.maz.closetomyheart.com.au I stamped the leaves & butterfly in black & added some watercolour soft Charcoal colour over the images. I embossed the butterfly on vellum with silver embossing & cut it apart to add an extra layer over the stamped butterfly.

The next card I am sharing with you today is featuring the florals on one of the papers. I paired it with a soft textured grey paper and added silver foil & a scallop border.

Again the flowers were stamp in black & added some watercolour soft Charcoal colour over the images. I used one of the banners & butterflies from the Chelsea Gardens Complements.

I hope you enjoyed what I created today & if you did so, please leave a comment before you head over to the very talented: Shaunna Richards Passionate About Pages  who I am sure will showcase something absolutely wonderful.

Enjoy the hop & thanks so much for taking the time to check out these ideas with this month’s feature on the Close To My Heart Chelsea Gardens Paper Suite…Til next time, see you soon & keep creating!

  2. Maz you never cease to amaze me. I love blues and greens so much that I would never have thought to make a monochromatic grey card with this pack but it works sooooo well. Truly stunning.

  4. I love the way you always put a new twist on each collection Maz. I never would have thought to make a flower card in only black and white – it looks very striking.

    1. I love the grey tones in this pack – I think these grey tones & pattens could easily lend to a male card by changing the feature image.
