Twixmas Crafting – Floral Blooms Birthday Card

Twixmas is the period of time in between Christmas and New Year, the lull in between festivities when many people also have a little time off from work and where some people find themselves not knowing what day it is & hoping they haven’t missed garbage night. It is also a great time to do some crafting no mater if you are into Scrapbooking, cardmaking or papercraft – you will always find something to do during this time of year!

For me I thought it was the perfect time to get inspired & try out the Freshly Made Sketches #566

I thought I do something simple & use the Floral Blooms Stamp + Thin Cuts as the flowers seemed perfect to represent the Circles.

I used the Stitched Card Front & Background Thin Cuts to create a stencil & using the Close To My Heart Blending Brushes I covered an area with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. I coloured the flowers with a Dusty Purple TriBlend™ Marker & the leaves with the Light Green TriBlend™ Marker. I finished off with a Happy Birthday Sentiment from the You Deserve It All Stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed what I created & inspires you to get your crafting gear out to have a play over this time

What We’re Loving

Til next time, see you soon & keep creating!
