Dive into a world of enchantment with this Halloween card that blends the mystical allure of purple with the vibrant energy of green.

Using the versatile Potions & Spells Bundle, I have created a card that’s both spooky and stylish using the Freshly Made Sketches #647 – A Sketch by Karren to play with the

The Sketch

Halloween is just around the corner, and it’s time to start spreading the spooky cheer! This elegant yet eerie card is the perfect way to celebrate the season.

I started with stamping and masking the books at the bottom of the card, this represented the bottom section of the sketch. I coloured in with a mix of Misty Moonlight, Blackberry Bliss and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends, making sure some of the books are darker so that it did not seem too much repeat of book titles.

The left panel of the card sketch is represented by the broom, which I coloured in the same way. I added some green thread around the broom.

The cauldron was also coloured int he same colours with a touch of gold on the handle. I stamped the bubbles floating up above the cauldron but used Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends to give some contrast to the purples used in the rest of the car.

As the focus element of the sketch is the square, I thought the cat would be perfect to represent that & coloured that in greys with the green eyes.

Using the versatile Potions & Spells stamp set, combined with the sketch helped me create a card that’s both spooky and stylish.
