The Sketch that Inspired the Card

This card is a great example of how a sketch can spark creativity! I was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches #718 – A Sketch by Amy to create my card

UPDATE: this card was a Princess pick  on Freshly Made Sketches.

This card came together by letting go of perfection and leaning into texture.

A little rustic, a little industrial, and a whole lot of texture.

This card combines the warmth of Country Woods designer series paper with random stamping from the Gears & Texture stamp set. A die-cut gear and strip add a strong industrial focal point, while the “Just Because” sentiment from the January Product of the Month Fabulous Sayings keeps the design versatile for everyday card giving.
