Close To My Heart Hello Lovely Paper Suite: Australasian Blog Hop

Australasian Blog HopA Happy Hello and welcome aboard our Hello Lovely Paper Suite Australasian, Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from the amazingly creative Nell Ward then you are in the right place.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

This Close To My Heart Paper Suite lives up to it’s name of Hello Lovely, because boy, is it lovely! And I really enjoyed crafting with this Lovely paper and creating lovely creations. Hello Lovely Paper Suite www.maz.closetomyheart.com.au

Though I must say I was worried that I would not have anything new to share with you for this paper suite as I have made & shared quite a bit already since Oct last year when I first got introduced to this Paper Suite at out Close To My Heart Australasian Convention.

I decided to use one of the cut apart Picture My Life Cards that come in the paper range. One of them is a frame which would normally be used for your journalling or for your title in your pocket Scrapbooking, but I thought it made a perfect feature for a card.

Hello Lovely Birthday Card www.maz.closetomyheart.com.au

I cut out the middle of the Picture My Life Card and used it as a frame on my card and decorated around the frame with the Hello Lovely flower compliments. Inside the frame is the birthday saying: One in a Million,. The stamp is actually designed to be used on the inside of your card but that doesn’t mean you cannot use it on the outside!

I choose one of the printed papers from the Hello Lovely Paper Suite, that was similar in colours as the frame to be the background of the card & to tie the design all together. What I really liked was how all the blue/greens of Sea Glass, are the main colour focus instead of the Sorbet colours that I have been using mostly when I have created with this paper.

I hope you enjoyed what I created today & if you did so, please leave a comment before you head over to the very talented: Tanya Armitage: Happy Paper Crafting who I am sure will showcase something absolutely wonderful with the Hello Lovely Paper Range!

Enjoy the hop & thanks so much for taking the time to check out these ideas with this month’s feature on the Close To My Heart’s Hello Lovely Paper Range…see you soon & keep creating!

  5. That PML card just lends itself really well to a stamped sentiment doesn’t it? And those flower clusters..ahh.. I would be a very happy camper to get a card like that in the mail. 😍

    1. Thank you Nell I was very happy when I saw that the stamp could sit inside the PML card and then rest just came together.

  6. This is such a great card- I love that the sentiment is the focal point but there are also lots of beautiful embellishments.
