One scalloped circle die, the new In Colours two-toned cardstock, a little gold foil, and a handful of leaf die cuts. That’s really all it takes to create something that looks this full and considered.

The Secret is in the Cardstock

I used the new two-toned cardstock to die-cut these flowers using a scalloped circle die. By utilising both sides of the paper, I was able to create a light and dark shade for every flower, giving them instant dimension without any extra ink or blending.

Design Tip: I added a gold foil circle to the center of each bloom to pull the whole look together with a touch of elegance.

The Challenge: Perfect Spacing

I’ll be honest—the trickiest part of this card wasn’t the die-cutting or the assembly; it was ensuring the spacing between those flowers remained even across the entire card base.

Adding the Finishing Touches

To keep the focus on the vibrant floral pattern, I kept the sentiment simple: “HAVE A GOOD DAY” stamped in the new Peaceful Pine In Color. The sentiment sits on a bright white rectangle with a scalloped edge on one side to mimic the floral shapes.
