The A Bushel & a Peck – June Stamp of the Month features a sweet girl, apples & lots of “I love you a lot” type sayings. I adore this sweet girl image & found her perfect to use for a number ideas.
The sayings were a little different for me – I think it is just not something I would normally hear. But it was fun to find out what a bushel & a peck were & what they meant.
It is a wonderful way to say that I love your more.
My First card I combine the sweet girl with Fresh Air Paper Pack & used one of the copper foil banners for the Thanks. I had fun fussy cutting some leaves to create my little cluster on the side.
My next card I played with inks & paints & created a background with white embossing & washed out stamped ink flowers using the Beautiful Friendship – Scrapbooking stamp set. I coloured the girl in with pink tones to match into the background.
I had fun creating these two different cards & I look forward to creating other ideas with this months stamp set.
