A Happy Hello and welcome aboard our Cape Cod Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Doris Taylor – Creative Inspirations then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

I live near the beach & we even go to in Winter, mostly to walk along it & enjoy the view & the Cape Code Collection works well for the Beach any season. I was inspired by the scrapbook layout on the cover of the Jul – Aug catalogue.

I blended some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide™ Ink Pad onto the white daisy ink & use the Clear Shimmer Brush over the ink & attached the cut up the Cape Cod paper strips  1 1/4″ wide at the top and about 5 1/2″ long, to create the sun ray.

I torn up a couple of the sheets to ad to the bottom of the 8½” x 11″ layout & added the Cape Cod Embellishments.

I did colour in the sea shell with some ink & Liquid Glass & the starfish I covered in Liquid Pearls™ & added some texture paste & Liquid Glass under my embellishment cluster.

I would love for you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Danielle Edwards – ScrappyChicks If you have any questions on how I did anything, please ask.

If you do not have a consultant please contact me or place an order here

Enjoy the hop & thanks so much for taking the time to check out these ideas with this month’s feature.

Til next time, see you soon & keep creating
Maz

  4. I love the difference in all your seashells. They all look the part and blend well together. The torn papers really add to the feel of your gorgeous layout.
