Are you ready for a whimsical Easter-themed scrapbook layout? For this Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop blog hop, I followed a sketch created by Julia Quinn – Creative Design Team Member to create a charming page featuring adorable bunnies, delicate vintage textures, and a soft, storybook-inspired aesthetic.

If you have arrived here from Sharon Dalton – CreativeMe68 (Australia) then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please check out all the others who played along by following the link at the end of this post.

For this blog hop, I followed a sketch and interpreted it, using the Storybook Moments Designer Series Paper and The Storybook Friends Bundle to bring my vision to life.
Sketches are incredibly versatile—you can follow them closely or use them as a loose guide, adjusting elements to fit your style.
The Storybook Moments 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper has beautifully illustrated characters and soft watercolor backgrounds, perfect for an Easter layout.

I started with Very Vanilla Cardstock & to create depth and to represent the torn look on the sketch, I stamped a brick fence in the background and then incorporated the subtle text from the Elements of Text Stamp Set, giving the page a vintage storybook feel. I used the smooching technique with a clear block and Soft Sea Foam Ink for rolling hills of grass and blended more
I fussy cut out some the bunnies & one of the cottages, if a bunny was holding flowers of veggies, I added some Stampin’ Blends to make it look more like an Easter Egg. I backed my photo placements with Storybook Moments DSP and used the rectangle frame to place under the photos as an embellishment.
For the title, I used a mix of the Sweet Sticker from the Storybook Moments Sticker Sheet & Alphabet à la Mode Dies to spell out Sweet Easter. Up the top I added a couple more stickers and finished off with the Pick A Season Sale-A-Bration Stamp for some grass & easter eggs. You only see the grass if you look closely, but I was happy how it turned out.
This layout is a perfect mix of stamping, die-cutting, and fussy cutting, bringing the story to life with layers and textures. Whether you’re scrapbooking Easter memories or simply love whimsical designs, this project is a fun way to showcase your creativity!
